Avery Brunner
Associate Ballet Dance Instructor
Avery began her ballet training in Naples, Florida, studying the Vaganova method at Naples Ballet. She spent her summers training with prestigious programs including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Texas Ballet Theater, and Cary Ballet. She continued her training in the Pre-Professional Program at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School under the direction of Marjorie Grundvig and performed in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, staged by Susan Jaffe. Avery later joined the Studio Company at Texas Ballet Theater, where she trained under Tim O’Keefe, and Artistic Director Ben Stevenson. While with the company, she performed in numerous mainstage productions including The Nutcracker, Cirque du Ballet, Peter and the Wolf, Alice in Wonderland, and a variety of contemporary works. In addition to her training and performance experience, Avery also taught ballet at Dance Arts by Maria in Naples, Florida. She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida.
