2025-2026 Class Schedule
Registration for the 2025-2026 Dance Season opens 6/1 for returning students via the Parent Portal and 7/7 for all new students. In the meantime, learn about dance styles and leveling below, or download a PDF of the season schedule.
See style-specific dress codes next to the classes below. All dancers must wear their hair in a flat low bun with a hair net for all classes. Bun kits are available for $5 at the front desk! Dance shoes used inside the studio should not be worn outside. Dancers will have a two week grace period on dress code violations. Please visit our local dance stores for all of your dance wear needs!
Students enrolled in classes labeled as Mini, Petite, and Pre must fall within that level’s age range:
Mini: ages 3-5
Petite: ages 5-7
Pre: ages 7-9
AcroDance
AcroDance is the beautiful fusion of the artistic motion of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics. It teaches dancers strength, flexibility, and balance. Take gymnastics to the dance floor with ballet technique and new ways of keeping your dancer strong and safe. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Ballet / Pointe
Ballet is the artistic basis of all dance. It uses precise and formal steps and gestures. Dancers learn discipline, grace, and proper technique. Pointe is the most iconic element of ballet where a dancer performs on the tips of fully extended feet in pointe shoes. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Ballroom
AKA’s Ballroom classes focus on Samba, Cha Cha & Rumba styles. Following the popularization of solo ballroom dancing, dancers will build skills and technique on their own. This will help prepare dancers to take on a ballroom dance partner later in their dance journey. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Combo
Combo classes introduce younger dancers to the three major styles of dance - Ballet, Tap & Acro. It teaches students focus, individuality, and better body control. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a popular, energetic dance style that teaches dancers confidence, rhythm, and isolations (movements involving individual body parts). Its curriculum ranges from popular social dances to break-dancing to pop & locking and so much more. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Jazz / MT
Jazz is an energetic style of dance. It often includes intricate movements and tricks like turns and jumps. Jazz teaches isolations (movements involving individual body parts), syncopation (rehearsed step patterns), and grounded movement. Musical Theatre Jazz takes jazz technique to the Broadway stage and teaches dancers how to act while dancing. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Lyrical / Contemporary
Lyrical and Contemporary are expressive styles of dance. Lyrical combines Ballet and Jazz movement while Contemporary is more like Modern dance. Both styles teach dancers versatility (the ability to adapt) and improvisation while expressing big emotions through dance. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Tap
Tap is a rhythmic discipline that teaches musicality (musical sensitivity), improvisation, and syncopation (rehearsed step patterns). It is characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Turns & Leaps
Turns & Leaps is a great class for dancers wanting to work on specifically their turns, leaps and dance tricks. Starting with basic technique and working up to more difficult movements, this class is made to help propel each dancer's technique to greater heights. Tuition is per-month and does not reflect multi-class or multi-student discounts.

Not sure which classes to choose?
From August-December, trial classes are available for only $30! Trials help you determine if a class is a good fit before enrolling. To register for a trial class, click Register for Classes — when you select the classes you’re interested in, choose ‘Yes’ under I would like to Trial this class.
AKA Level Placements
Our levels may not coincide with other studios. To compare levels, it is important to look at the curriculum, not the number of years of training. Initial student evaluation involves determining a student’s present ability (in light of previous dance experience), individual skill, and muscle development.
New students who would like to register for a class above our beginning levels should take our placement exam. Please contact the studio for more information about our placement exam.
