Being on a competitive dance team promotes teamwork. Dancers are encouraged to do their individual best and help one another reach their full performing potential.

The simple task of setting a goal and then reaching it is a great way to improve your skills and feel great about yourself! Competitions inspire dancers to try their hardest, teach the benefits of constructive criticism, and develop a compassionate and positive attitude, win or lose.

Build Commitment & Strengthen Technique
Competition dancers are working towards perfecting their technique and routines at the dance studio. This desire to commit and never quit stays with a dancer long after the season ends.
