Dress Code

AcroDance

All acro dancers are required to have 2 yoga blocks. No shoes are required.

  • Female dancers: Any colored leotard or sports bra with dance shorts or leggings. Hair must be out of the face in a low bun.

  • Male dancers: T-shirt tucked into bike shorts or dance leggings. Hair must be out of the face.

Ballet / Pointe

All Ballet dancers in Pre Ballet, Ballet 1 & Ballet 2/3 need an alignment belt, 2 yoga blocks, a resistance band & 1.5-2 lb ankle weights.

    • Female dancers: Light pink or lilac leotard - Eurotard Girls Cotton Lycra® Tank Dance Dress. Ballet pink transition tights with pink SoDanca “Bliss” split sole canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face and in a bun. 

    • Male dancers: White Eurotard Youth Unisex Microfiber Crew Neck Short Sleeve Dance Top tucked into black Eurotard Youth Unisex Long Length Dance Shorts. Required shoes are black SoDanca “Bliss” canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

    • Female dancers: Light blue leotard - Eurotard Girls Cotton Lycra® Tank Dance Dress. Ballet pink transition tights with pink SoDanca “Bliss” split sole canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face and in a bun. 

    • Male dancers: White Eurotard Youth Unisex Microfiber Crew Neck Short Sleeve Dance Top tucked into black Eurotard Youth Unisex Long Length Dance Shorts. Required shoes are black SoDanca “Bliss” canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

    • Female dancers: Hunter green leotard - Eurotard Cotton Lycra® Princess Seam to Empire Waist Camisole Leotard. Ballet pink transition tights with pink SoDanca “Bliss” split sole canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face and in a bun.

    • Female dancers: Black leotard - Eurotard Cotton Lycra® Princess Seam to Empire Waist Camisole Leotard. Ballet pink transition tights with pink SoDanca “Bliss” split sole canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be out of the face and in a bun. Pointe shoes and accessories will be chosen during your pointe shoe fitting.

Mini & Petite Combo:

  • Female dancers: Light pink, light blue or lilac leotard - Eurotard Girls Cotton Lycra® Tank Dance Dress. Ballet pink transition tights with pink SoDanca “Bliss” split-sole canvas ballet shoes and tan leather tap shoes. Hair must be out of the face. 

  • Male dancers: White Eurotard Youth Unisex Microfiber Crew Neck Short Sleeve Dance Top tucked into black Eurotard Youth Unisex Long Length Dance Shorts. Black SoDanca “Bliss” canvas ballet shoes and black leather tap shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

Conditioning

  • Adult Stretch: We recommend comfortable leggings and a T-shirt. No jeans or restrictive clothing allowed. No shoes required.

  • Ballet Floor Barre: Express yourself with your dance wear! No jeans or restrictive clothing allowed. Long socks required.

Hip Hop

  • All Dancers: Express yourself with your dance wear! No jeans or restrictive clothing allowed. Required shoes - plain sneakers, never worn outside. Hair must be out of the face.

Jazz/Musical Theatre

  • Beginning Jazz, Jazz 1 & Jazz 2/3:

    1. Female dancers: Any color leotard or sports bra with leggings or shorts with transition tights. Required shoes are Bloch “Pulse” skin tone leather jazz shoes. Hair must be up. 

    2. Male dancers: Fitted tee-shirt with athletic shorts or leggings. Required shoes are Bloch “Pulse” black leather jazz shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

  • Adult Jazz:

    1. Female dancers: Any color leotard or sports bra with leggings or shorts with transition tights. Required shoes are Bloch “Pulse” black leather jazz shoes. Hair must be up. 

    2. Male dancers: Fitted tee-shirt with athletic shorts or leggings. Required shoes are Bloch “Pulse” black leather jazz shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

Lyrical/Contemporary

  • Pre Lyrical:

    1. Dancers: Express yourself with your dance wear! No jeans or restrictive clothing allowed. Required shoes are Bloch “Pulse” skin tone leather jazz shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

  • Adult Lyrical, Contemporary & Lyrical 1/2:

    1. Dancers: Express yourself with your dance wear! No jeans or restrictive clothing allowed. Required shoes are skin tone Capezio Hanami Pirouette stretch canvas turning shoes. Hair must be out of the face.

Tap

  • Mini/Petite Tap:

  • Pre Tap & Teen Tap:

  • Tap 1 & Tap 2/3:

  • Tap 1 & Tap 2/3:

Turns & Leaps

All dancers need dance socks, a resistance band & 1.5-2 lb ankle weights.

  • Male dancers: Fitted tee-shirt with athletic shorts or leggings. Hair must be out of the face.
